Harriet and Ben have been able to get out to the racecourse from the apartment in Seef, and all is well with the horses. Quieter on the roads – unsurprisingly. On Saturday night, as the sirens continued to sound, they made the call to sleep (although there was not much of that…) in their cars out in the desert. And several were planning to camp out with the horses at the Quarantine Barns last night…
The prestigious Kings Cup Meeting later this week. I guess we will see what the next few days bring. And also whether the planned flights home a week today can happen…
