And headwinds…..

Listening to news reports, switching from Al Jazeera to Sky, picking up Governmental advice, trying to keep everybody in the loop…

A loop that swirls and meanders and changes by the hour…

Harriet and Ben steadfast and sanguine and superbly professional in the headwind that is uncertainty. Not what they bought into. As ever, our exceptional team, whether here or across High Seas, putting the welfare of their charges to the forefront…

I am supremely proud of them all, and they are the reason that we have such loyal and supportive owners who completely appreciate the hard work and the sacrifices…

They are supposed to be flying home on Monday. Supposed…..?!

DESERT COP in the 6 furlong Turf Series on Thursday and the Local Grade 1 Chairman’s Cup on Friday. Second and first respectively in those races last year. Benoit de La Sayette booked on Thursday, Lee Newman on Friday…

And GORDON GREY in a mile and a quarter handicap on Friday, Benoit up…

A strange mix of muddling war and race plans into the same paragraphs. Perspective. Manage the stress levels of all affected as best we can. Bigger picture. All will be well…
