Minus plenty….

Looks like “minus plenty” too. A decent covering of snow surprised both me and the dogs when the back door was thrown open in the darkness…

Busy on the roads for “silly O’Clock”. Back to work day for many. Reboot and reset after all the fun and the games and the shenanigans…

“Fun and games” of sorts at Loftus Road yesterday. Despite looking distinctly average, QPR somehow engineered a 3-0 win over a doomed Sheffield Wednesday side. Barney and my godson Harry Cornell having to sit through the agony as my frozen wingmen – at least they got a decent lunch afterwards….

And Barney and Tallulah both buoyed by Chelsea’s late equaliser at Manchester City that leaves Arsenal six points clear at the top of the back. Twists and turns for sure though….

Elsewhere, in the desert heat, Handicapper Phil Smith leaving NESTHORN alone on 101, dropping DESERT COP a pound (91) and MAX MAYHEM (93) a couple….

HI ROYAL up 9 to 107 – he does not miss them, that Phil Smith….

Frozen ground across the land, and not much prospect of any Turf action over the next couple of days. A couple of the all weather tracks are struggling as well…

Deep and crisp and even and frozen and effing cold…

And the ashes drifting to a dead end in Sydney…
