Those London Buses…??

One comes around that bend in the road. Followed immediately by another….

KITARO KICH getting the wheels back on the wagon at Kempton on Wednesday night. MASSIMO BLUE the second “bus” when winning well at Southwell last night under Cieren Fallon…

When Cieren first came on the scene, he rode plenty for us. We had had very many happy days with his Father, and it was fun to be involved in the early stages of his son’s journey. Then he took wing to bigger yards and it has been fabulous to see him flourish as understudy to Tom Marquand at William Haggas’s mighty stable…

He’s riding with supreme confidence – and the ride he gave MASSIMO BLUE last night was filled with finesse and skill. Great for the bunch of local lads who own the horse and had moved him to us in late Summer….

Sometimes, the roll of the dice comes up double six…

I rolled the dice with Kitaro last night and came up with double one. We move on. He can win again for sure and will be spending long days in grassy paddocks to that end…

Marsh Benham at Brighton – the race not run to suit. Rain around. Which will suit. He’s not done yet for the season…

Broadhaven Bay will have a fabulous retirement from racing. He’s a cool “person” and will do another job well. And unlike plenty, he retires as a winning racehorse…

No runners today. So annoyingly no more buses…
