As I have said previously, most racecourses have done superb jobs to produce fair ground in extremely taxing circumstances. I can count on less than the fingers of one hand the courses that have walked with “jar” in the ground or jockeys have reported lightning fast conditions….
Which is a relief as we have been able to run horses that would not normally be considered fast ground beasts…
No runners over the weekend. A few balloted out of the 10 runner Shergar Cup contests. Not our money to dish out – but support from several for the idea of spreading the £25,000 top stable prize across all races…
