“The potential here is limitless. The culture of the horse is endemic in the Kingdom and the enthusiasm for the sport of horseracing is tangible.” So says George after an official visit to the island of Bahrain in January 2021.
George Baker Racing is pleased to announce a new partnership with Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club REHC to include the establishment of a permanent satellite training yard in Bahrain. The aim of the partnership is to increase race horse ownership and expand the audience for high class horseracing on the island of Bahrain. As George explains.. “We will be launching racehorse ownership syndicates to suit all budgets and the emphasis will be on ensuring all involved have an exciting and enjoyable experience.” GBR will have permanent stabling at the racecourse and access to all training facilities. George and the team at GBR are thrilled to have been invited to join REHC. “These are exciting times for the sport of horseracing in the Kingdom of Bahrain and it is a privilege and an honour to be involved.”
Becoming a member of the George Baker Bahrain Racing Club has been a very rewarding experience – my family have really enjoyed being involved wasn is eostias pellit ea ipsaperum in culluptatem magnimus praepel ipsaperio qui officip sandit.

White Turf St. Moritz February 2020
Every year, fine thoroughbreds from all over Europe and international jockeys take part in the races at the White Turf in St. Moritz enthralling guests from around the world. On three Sundays in February, more than 30,000 spectators flock to the frozen expanse of Lake St. Moritz to witness the excitement and entertainment of the races against the magnificent backdrop of the Engadine mountains.
WARGRAVE, ridden by Denis Schiergen, won the prestigious Group 2 Grosser Preis von St Moritz under an excellent front running ride. This race had been the plan for this horse since Paul Bowden bought him at Tattersalls last autumn. A hugely impressive performance in stunning surroundings !!
