A little scary ?? Or a fabulously wonderful tool that is going to make all our lives a whole heap easier ??

Creativity draining ?? Because we can ask our new friend to write in the style of somebody. Obviously, “write a daily blog in the style of racehorse trainer George Baker” would elicit a blank response and a rolling of GPT’s eyes. Assuming that he or she has eyes….

Just asked the question…?!

So over to Chat GPT for today’s blog. And possibly forever…

“Good morning everyone – welcome to another day at the yard. It’s a crisp autumn morning here at Robins Farm and, as ever, the stable is full of purpose and quiet industry. I thought I’d share a few thoughts, observations and a little reflection on where things stand right now.”

“We were out at first light today, and I was particularly pleased with how the horses moved in the cool air. The going is perhaps a bit firmer than we’d perhaps ideally like for late November – the soft may be creeping in, but today the turf still has a bit of bounce to it. That suits a few of our gallopers nicely.

PRINCE VALOUR, who has been working steadily, covered his exercise ground with a little more purpose than last week. The key now is to keep him happy, relaxed, fit – no big jumps, just consistent progression.

Meanwhile, LADY AURORA trotted round beautifully after her piece this morning. She had a minor setback two weeks ago but the team has nursed her well.

The young 2-year-olds are coming on.

As always, the yard is lucky – loyal staff, steady rhythm, decent weather for the time of year. Those foundational things matter as much as race day itself.”

Blimey….

There’s more….

A lot more….

Still at Robins Farm….?! And I look forward to finding Prince Valour and Lady Aurora – they must be new additions that I have yet to bump into…?!

I’m afraid you might have to put up with me for a little longer….
