Annoyingly, rather a lot of it is falling on Epsom Downs right now…
“Rain rain stay away, come again another day….”
A shame. Especially given the efforts and the positivity and all the hard work….
But this is Derby day and it is still going to be special, unique, extraordinary and brilliant…
And whilst the weather is not ideal, a small but extremely progressive step forward has been made in the past few weeks as the greatest race sneaks back into the national psyche…
Bonkers busy here with folk at every turn and corner – which is exactly how this place should be on this morning…
