The Gallops
The historic gallops have been worked upon by generations of Classic winners. There are several grass gallops and a watering system to ensure fair ground in high summer.
There is a woodchip gallop and a Polytrack gallop, both stretching for a mile and a quarter (10 furlongs). The Manton Estate affords ample turn-out paddocks for the horses.

Schooling Field
The schooling hurdles and fences are situated beside the Barton gallop, not more than a quarter of a mile away from the Barton Yard. Beautiful jumping ground, and those who have schooled horses up there have been very impressed. Our Easyfix brush hurdles are easy to maintain, precluding the constant refurbishment that is required on standard racecourse hurdles. We found Olympic hurdling legend David Hemery up there recently - if the ground is good enough for him, it is good enough for anybody...!!

Our horses are stabled at The Barton Yard. This comprises an American Barn of 54 stables. The stables are spacious and airy, and laid out in a manner that ensures that stable management is very efficient.
All the horses can see several of their "friends", and the layout of the yard is conducive to ensuring a relaxed and calm atmosphere. There is a large indoor school and a horsewalker on site, and a horse swimming pool nearby.
